Preparation for the move...

Over the last few weeks, we've been busy working to pack up crucial items that we'll need for the next 1-2 months, and then either ship off the rest, or yard sale/donate the detritus. Now that the movers have descended upon the house like locusts, removing all in their path and leaving only scraps of cardboard and random paper clips behind, the pace of our days have slowed down. Now we have time to wrap up Neil's work, visit with friends, cram in German lessions, and settle our affairs here in Washington.
